Frequency Report

Frequency Report provides performance data of frequency.
You can download the frequency reports for ads under the campaign that can have Frequency Cap.
For you to optimize your ad management, use Frequency Report when delivering ads with Frequency Control.

Data items on the report

Frequency Report

1. Daily
This shows the date of each daily record of the report data. Select "Monthly", "Weekly" or "Daily" from the "Display Items" when you create reports, to specify the period to aggregate Frequency Report.
The date depends what you select for the period, thus below matrix.

Display Items description
Monthly Reporting full of the month.
The 1st day of reporting month can be seen on this column.
Report for Feb, 2014, the date will be seen as"20140201".
Weekly Reporting the data of the week, from Monday to Sunday.
The date of Monday can be seen on this column.
Daily Reporting daily data.

2. Campaign / Ad Group / Ad (component)
Select the desired component from the "Display Items" when you creating the Frequency Report to aggregate the report by that component.

3. Frequency

This shows the number of times an ad is displayed to a unique user during the specified period.

When_frequency exceeds 101, it will be summarized in "101-" row.

4. Unique Users
This shows the number of unique users for each impression amount listed in the "Impressions" column.

User A : 1 (1 impression of the ad has been displayed)
User B : 2
User C : 4
* Impressions are counted for each user.
In the example case above, Impressions and Unique Users will be counted as follows;

  • Note that Frequency Cap settings will be applied to your campaigns and controls ad display based on data after February 17, 2014. The actual ad performance before this date will have no effect on the number of ad display in regards to Frequency Cap settings.
  • Because the Frequency Control feature uses unique user's information based on Cookie information to deliver ads, note the followings:
    • When the internet user's browser does not accept the Cookie, Frequency Control won't work. Therefore, ad delivery data to this user is not included in the data on Frequency report.
    • Even the impression occurs, unique user's information may not be acquired by the Cookie information status. Therefore, the difference such as the number of impressions may be more than the number of unique users may occur.
