Information on Editorial Status
The result of the Editorial Review and the Editorial Status of each Ad or image are displayed in the Editorial Status page. The status types are listed below.
Approved:
Pending:
Change Requested*:
Declined:
Removed:Approved:
Approved for display
Note that, because Editorial Review is also performed for Ads and images after they are listed, it is possible that Ads or images may be removed after they have entered use.
Pending:
The review is currently being performed.
Change Requested*:
A previously approved Ad is being reviewed again because it has been edited.
The approved content continues in use while the review is pending. The new content is applied once it has been approved. If declined, the new content is not applied and the old content remains in use.
Declined:
The Ad or image was not approved because it violated the Editorial Guidelines.
Removed:
Current Ad or image was removed from use because the review found that it violated the Editorial Guidelines.
- Tips
- When the review status is "Declined" or "Removed" and "(Read disapproval reasons)" is displayed, there are comments on the areas that violate the Editorial Guidelines. Click the "i" icon in the review status to see the "Rejected Reasons and Recommended Action."

- *The "Change Requested" status does not apply to images because images cannot be edited.
