How to add Site general tag

Add "Site general tag" and "Complementary feature tag" on each page on your website.

When your website has cross-domain, refer the steps on "Settings for Cross-domain.

When you add the tag on your website, please check the following points.

  • Place "Site general tag" and "Complementary feature tag" right after the HEAD starting tag and before the conversion tag on each page of your website.
  • When you are using Search Ads and Display Ads (YDN) in the same account, you only need a single site general tag and a single complementary feature tag per page. It works fine when you install multiple tags.
  • When you already installed the site general tag and add a new complementary feature tag: replace the existing site general tag to "Site general tag" and "complementary feature tag." Getting only a complementary feature tag isn't available.
  • When the advertiser provides users' data that is taken as personal information to us, you must handle it abiding by the Personal Information Protection Act upon managing the users' data.
  • On the address bar of the landing page, “yclid=xxxxxxxxx” must be shown. If redirecting with third-party tracking tools, the "YCLID" parameter may not be displayed. Please ask your tool vendor whether the parameter is displayed or not.
  • The “xxxxxxxxx” part of the description “yclid=xxxxxxxxx” will be a unique value on each ad click.
