In order to identify the advertisers, the following information should be displayed in the linked sites.
In the case of double-branded advertisements (which requires to identify the alliance partner of the advertiser), the relationship between both brands should be clarified to prevent the potential confusion of users.

1. Clear Indication of Advertisers

Description

Advertisers must clarify their identifications where the ad’s responsibility lies in their banner ads, so that the ad users can recognize whose ad and what the ad is about.
As a basic rule, the linked site is the advertiser's site and must include the name, address, and phone number of the advertiser. However, there may be some exceptions to this rule. [More detail]

Yahoo! JAPAN will not approve the site identifying the advertiser inaccurately, or identifying the advertiser in image format.
Ads disclosing some of advertiser’s identification such as advertisers name and phone number, or encrypting the advertiser’s identification, will not be approved to be delivered.  Please display the advertiser’s identification so that the ad users can contact them smoothly.
Additionally, ads that all or a part of advertiser’s identification is in image format, cannot be delivered.

(1) Name of the advertiser (the company name or personal name that identifies the advertiser).
When you do not have a company name, display your personal name. A store name or office name will not be approved as a company name.

A website that displays a business name (store name) only without the company or personal name of the website owner cannot be delivered.

 

2Advertiser’s postal address and phone number (Foreign companies which is conducting business in Japan should display their contact information located in Japan).
Advertiser’s location as a postal address must be displayed to the block number without any omissions.  For corporate businesses, no matter their headquarters’ or branch offices’ their postal addresses which can be used when the ad users contact them, must be delivered.
When the advertiser's address is overseas, the name of the country must also be displayed.

As a basic rule, the linked site is the advertiser's site and must include the name, address, and phone number of the advertiser. However, there may be some exceptions to this rule.

・When the linked site is a tie-in page with another media company
If displaying the name, address, and phone number of the advertiser is not possible on the linked site, display the name, address, and phone number of the media company that owns the tie-in page. When you display the media company's information for Yahoo! JAPAN Ads, include the name of the advertiser and website owner in the account name.

・When the linked site is another company's website that the advertiser can edit.
If the linked site does not belong to the advertiser, the advertiser must meet the following conditions: The advertiser can edit or manage the linked site. The linked site contains the advertiser's name, address, and phone number.

C Company can edit the contents of its official channel, however, the website only has the name, address, and phone number of the video portal D (not C Company's name, address, or phone number), therefore, it cannot be delivered.
