What is auto bidding

Auto bidding automatically adjusts bids depending on your campaign goal and/or budget.
The available auto bidding type differs depending on campaign goals.

What is manual bidding

This bidding method uses the specified amount as a bid limit. It will help to increase the number of clicks and video views within the specified bid. Specifying the bid for each billing method is as follows.

Pay per click (CPC)

Specify the max bid per click.

Tips
  • If your billing method is "pay per click (CPC)", you will be charged for "clicks" even if your ad has a video.
  • When the same ad is clicked multiple times in the same session, the second and subsequent clicks will not be a subject to be charged.
    However, if the same ad is clicked after the session is severed, the click will be a subject to be charged.

Cost per video view (CPV)

Set the maximum bid per 1,000 video views.
Bid is set as an amount for 1,000 playbacks, but ad fee is charged for each video playback.

Example
If bid for 1,000 playback is JPY5,500
 →A maximum of JPY5.5 will be charged for each playback.

For the cost per video view (CPV), you will only be charged if more than 10 seconds have passed since the video was played. You are not charged for go to (clicking) the destination URL from the ad.
With video ads of less than 10 sec., you will be charged when the video is played the end.

Tips
  • When the same video is played again in the same session after the video ad has been played for 10 sec. or more (if it’s less than 10 sec., played the end), you will not be charged for the second and subsequent playback. However, if playback of the same video ad is played after the session is severed, you will be charged.
    Example
    When the same video is played again for 10 seconds or more by click on the "Play" button displayed after the video has finished playing.
    →The second and subsequent playback will not be a subject to be charged.
  • If the browser tab switches and the ad disappears during video playback, playback will pause. When the ad appears again, it will play from where it stopped. When the video is finally played for 10 seconds or more (playing is completed if it is less than 10 seconds), you will be charged (the operation of stopping playback by switching tabs may differ depending on the browser on which the ad is displayed).

Viewable CPM (vCPM)

Specify the max bid per 1,000 viewable impressions.

How to set bid strategy
