Yahoo! JAPAN Ads Help

You can change the setting content of campaigns, ad groups, ads, and targeting, and the registered content of various lists and image files using the following operating method, in the Campaign Editor.

  • You can also change the settings using the Import function. See the following page for details on the Import function.

Change in the data details area

Steps
  1. Open the main window of the Campaign Editor.
  2. [For campaigns, ad groups, ads, targeting]
    Select an item whose settings you want to change in the data area.

    [For Lists, Image Files, Labels]
    Click on “Common Library” on the left-hand side of the main window to select the items whose settings you want to change.

    • You can make multiple selections by making selections while holding down the “Shift” key.
    • You can select multiple lines that are not adjacent by selecting lines while holding down the “Ctrl” key.
  3. Enter the area to change in the “Data Details Area” or select in the pull-down menu.
    * To select multiple items, the present setting content will vary depending on the targeted campaign, and ad group and the like. In such cases, a cautionary prompt of “Case depends” is displayed.
  4. The content changed in step 3 is applied to the targeted items displayed in the data area.

 

Change in the data area

Steps
  1. Open the main window of the Campaign Editor.
  2. [For campaigns, ad groups, ads, targeting]
    Select an item whose settings you want to change in the data area.
    [For Lists, Image Files, Labels]
    Click on “Common Library” on the left-hand side of the main window to select the items whose settings you want to change.
  3. Align the cursor to the location of the settings to change in the data area and click. The input area or the pull-down menu is displayed. Change the content.
Note
  • Data added, changed, or deleted, and targeting set in the Campaign Editor are applied to the account data of the Campaign Management tool by uploading. The changes will not be applied to the Campaign Management tool if the Campaign Editor is quit without uploading the data.
    Upload data
  • After changing the item targeted for examination, and uploading the data to the Campaign Management Tool, the examination is implemented on the content changed. While pending, approved content is distributed in the ad. At that time, only approved content can be downloaded to the Campaign Editor.
    After changed content is approved, the targeted item is written to new content, and can be downloaded to the Campaign Editor.
