How to Import Campaign and Review Import Results

*The importing feature is only available for advertisers meeting certain criteria.

Importing

Steps
  1. Click the "Display Ads" tab of the Campaign Management Tool.
  2. Click the account name to import to.
  3. Click the arrow (▼) in the [Campaigns] tab and then click "Import" in the pull-down menu appears.
    Alternatively, click the [Campaigns] tab and select "Import" from "Importing" in the navigation panel on the left.
  4. Click the [Browse...] button under the "1. Select the import file" in the "Import" page and select the template file to impart (CSV format).

  5. Enter the name for the import process (optional).
  6. Click the [Import File] button.
Note
  • For the content you have imported, we perform editorial reviews via the system and visual inspection. It can take up to 3 business days to show the ad you submitted. As we are regularly reviewing the advertising policies, the ad already running will also be subject to review. If the review indicates that your ad violates a policy, we will stop showing it.
  • The maximum file size for importing is 20mb before zipped.
    - The maximum limit of the file size is common for all type of devices.
    - Once the importing process is completed, you can specify the file for next importing.
  • Ad Distribution type “Mobile” has been closed on March 27, 2017. Creating ads and ad delivery of campaigns created with Ad Distribution type “mobile” is not available anymore.
Tips
  • An import template file can be created based on a downloaded file of registered information.
  • When importing a display Ad, add image to link to the Ad, download the image information, and create an import template file based on that file.

The results of an import can be verified with "Import Status" in the "Import" screen.

Verify Import Status and Results

Steps
  1. Click the "Display Ads" tab of the Campaign Management Tool.
  2. Click the Account name to import to.
  3. Click the arrow (▼) in the [Campaigns] tab and then click "Import" in the pull-down menu appears.
    Alternatively, click the [Campaigns] tab and select "Import" from "Import" in the navigation panel on the left.
  4. Click the "Import Status".
  5. Verify the import results in the "Import Status" page.
Tips
  • Click the "Display Result" under the "Status" field to display the "Import Result" pop-up.
  • If the import completed successfully, then the "Go to 'Campaigns'".

 

Verify File Format Error

When any error of file format occurred, you can see the alert "File format error" on the 'Status' column on the 'Import Status" screen. Please confirm whether the file you're importing is in the latest file format or not.
*For the error of file format, an error file is not created.

 

Verify Error Message

When any error occurred during importing process, you can click the text "Download Error File" on the 'Status' column on the 'Import Status' screen. Please confirm the error detail on the CSV file.
*The CSV file can be saved on your end.
*The error file is available on the screen for 30 days.
*The error detail can be seen on the 'Error message' at 'Y' column of the file when you open it with Excel.
Before trying to import your data again, please confirm error messages and fix the specified part on the importing file.
*Before importing again, error messages need to be removed from the file.
