Link customer data using data-connecting tool and create audience list

You can use the user list data you stored and analyzed for ad delivery for Display Ads.

The connected list data is stored in your audience list.

How ad delivery works when connecting the list data to Display Ads

  1. Connect the original user list stored and analyzed by the advertiser to the data-connecting tool.
    Tips
    You must use a connecting tool. We don't support the tool's format, list, specifications, etc. Ask the tool provider.
  2. Connect list data to Display Ads.
    Tips
    • To store your list data, create an audience list (custom).

    • The valid duration of data connection in the audience list is up to 60 days. To continue using the same list data, you must connect data again. Learn more 

     

  3. The audience in your list sees your ad.
    Tips
    You must associate your audience list with your ad groups.

How to check ID for setting up data-connecting tools

When connecting your data, you may need the ID of Display Ads. 

Check the ID on the Campaign Management Tool

  • Retargeting ID
    From the top bar, click Tools>Audience list in the common library.
    From the side menu, click "Audience source."
    Click "View tag and ID."

  • Audience list ID
    From the top bar, click Tools>Audience list in the common library.
    "Audience list ID" appears in the list.
