Fund transfer across accounts

You can transfer your funds (account balance) from one account to another when they are in the same company. For example, you can transfer the account balance from a Search Ads account to a Display Ads account.
*You can transfer the fund you paid. Special adjustments such as promotional codes won't transfer.

Note
  • To transfer funds, you must have admin access.
  • The fund transfer isn't available for agency accounts and doesn't appear in their management tools.
  • Depending on your account status, the fund transfer may not be available.
  • In the first few days of each month, the fund transfer isn't available. Wait until the previous month's "Monthly Billing Statement" appears.

There are two ways (partial and full) to transfer your account balance.

Partial fund transfer

Steps
  1. For Search Ads: From the top bar, click "Fund Transfer."
    For Display Ads: From the top bar, click Tools > Fund transfer between accounts
  2. Click "Transfer."
  3. Select "From" and "To" accounts.
  4. Make sure that "Specified amount" is selected and enter the amount you want to transfer. Specify the amount in a hundred increments.
  5. Click "Continue."
  6. Click "Confirm."
  7. Check on the account balances.

Full fund transfer

You must turn off the sending account before the fund transfer.

Note
To process a full fund transfer, your account must meet the following conditions:
-When you transfer from a Search Ads account
  • The account you transfer a fund from is turned off.
  • The account is turned off for more than 168 hours.
  • You are transferring from Search Ads account
-When you transfer from a Display Ads account
  • The account you transfer a fund from is turned off.
Steps
  1. Turn off the account that sends the account balance.
    Change the Account Display Settings On or Off
  2. For Search Ads: From the top bar, click "Fund Transfer."
    For Display Ads: From the top bar, click Tools>Fund transfer between accounts
  3. Click "Transfer."
  4. Select "From" and "To" accounts.
  5. When you see “You can transfer all amount.,” select "Full amount."
    Tips
    For domestic accounts, the amount to be transferred includes consumption tax. Therefore, if the available amount is 1 JPY, the transfer won't be done.
  6. Click "Confirm."
    *This page doesn't show the transferring amount.
  7. Check on the account balances.
Note
For domestic accounts, there may be one yen difference due to adjusting tax. We will refund the difference to the account balance next month.

Check on transfer history

You can check the following data on the "Fund transfer between accounts" page:

  • Date
  • Amount
  • Sending account's information (service type, account ID, account name)
  • Receiving account's information (service type, account ID, account name)

 

Note
You can view the data for 13 months.

  1. For Search Ads: From the top bar, click "Fund Transfer."
    For Display Ads: From the top bar, click Tools > Fund transfer between accounts
  2. Your transfer history appears.
