First Page Bid Estimate

The First Page Bid Estimate is a function that estimates the required bid to display your ad on the first page of search results on Yahoo! JAPAN main search.
The First Page Bid Estimate is based on the keyword quality and etc.
*The First Page Bid Estimate is only a projection and is not guaranteed.

1.How to review on the Keyword List of the [Campaigns] tab

1-1. How to display the data item “First Page Bid Estimate” on the Keyword List.

Steps
  1. Click the [Search Ads] tab of the Campaign Management Tool.
  2. Click the [Campaigns] tab.
  3. Click the [Keyword] sub-tab from "Select Items".
  4. Click the [Display] button in the middle of the screen, then select the "Edit Display Items" from the pulldown menu.
  5. Enable the checkbox of the “First Page Bid Estimate” on the “Edit Items Displayed” page.
  6. From "Sort Display Items", you can change the order of the items that are set to be displayed by drag and drop.
  7. Click the [Apply] button, then you can see The First Page Bid Estimate for each keyword.

Steps
  1. Click the [Search Ads] tab of the Campaign Management Tool.
  2. Click the [Campaigns] tab.
  3. Click the [Keyword] sub-tab from "Select Items" in the middle of the screen.
  4. You can review The First Page Bid Estimate for each keyword on the screen.

If your bid is lower than the First Page Bid Estimate, you can see a small down arrow on the page. In this case, the ad will not be appear on the search result page, so please revise your bid refering the help topic below.

2. How to create the Keyword Report including the data item “First Page Bid Estimate”

Steps
  1. Click the [Search Ads] tab of the Campaign Management Tool.
  2. Click the [Report] tab, then select the “Performance Report”.
  3. Click the [Create New Report] button.
  4. Select "Keyword Report" from "Report Type" under "1. Report Format" and set the other items.
  5. "Display by" allows you to select the units by which the data is aggregated.
  6. Select the item “First Page Bid Estimate” from "Items Displayed"
  7. From "Sort Items", you can change the order of the items that are set to be displayed by drag and drop.
  8. Set the period, items, and filter in “2. Report Details”.
  9. Select the Create Option and File Format, and enter a Report Name in “3. Templates”.
  10. Once you click the [Create] button, the report including The First Page Bid Estimate will be created.
