Auto Bidding Type "Maximize Conversions"

Suited Goals

This bidding type is fitted when your goal is to acquire conversions , such as purchase and subscriptions via ad, as much as possible using the budget at the most.

Example
  • Do not mind how much the click charge will be but want as much subscriptions (conversions) as possible.
  • Want to maximize conversions in the short campaign period.
    Because the bid is adjusted based on past performance, it can maximize conversions in short term by fully using the budget, even with new campaigns.
Tips
The auto bidding type “Maximize conversions” automatically adjusts the bid to maximize conversions within Campaign daily budget.
“Bidding type: Enhanced CPC” (formerly named “Auto bidding type: Maximize conversions”) adjusts a bid amount according to the possibility of conversions based on the bid manually set and the feature is different.

How Bid Adjustment works

  • Automatically adjusts the bid to maximize conversions within Campaign daily budget. Covering wide range data with machine learning, conversions are precisely predicted and conversions are maximized.
  • Every time an ad auction occurs the bid is adjusted.

To use with other biddings

  • When auto bidding type “Maximize conversions” is selected the Bid adjustment for each targeting will be invalid. Except for when the Bid adjustment for each device is set to"Decrease by 100%", it is valid.

Restrictions

  • Before using “Maximize conversions”, you need to enable conversion analysis.
    Learn more about Required conditions for Auto Bidding with Target CPA and Target ROAS.
    * Once you have enabled conversion analysis on your campaign, it does not matter whether conversion occurs or not.
  • "Maximize conversions” is selectable on auto bidding setting “Standard bidding.”
    “Portfolio bidding” is can’t be selected.
Note:
  • Since the new feature will automatically adjust a bid in order to maximize conversions within Campaign daily budget, we recommend you to review and revise Campaign daily budget before using the feature.
  • If campaign total cost is quite lower than Campaign daily budget before using auto bidding type “Maximize conversions”, please note that click cost will largely increase after you set “Maximize conversions”.
  • When using "Maximize Conversions," be sure to set more than one "Auto Bidding: Include" to the campaign. When conversion setting is "Auto Bidding: Exclude", the auto bidding will not work and conversions may not increase or ads will not be delivered at all.
