Q: The values (analytics) on the campaign list in the ad management tool, and the values in the reports are different, even when the same data duration is specified

A: This is due to one of the following reasons.

  • An element is removed
Performance data for removed elements (campaigns, ad groups, ads, etc.) will not be displayed in the various list screens of the Campaign Management Tool. On the other hand, the performance reports includes deleted elements and the figures may differ.

  • There is an element with no impression
Elements with no impressions will not be displayed in the various list views of the Campaign Management Tool. On the other hand, in the performance report, when the number of impressions is set to 0 or more in the "Filter" field when creating the report, the data for elements with no impressions can be counted. This is the reason why there may be differences in the figures depending on the report settings.
Learn more on report settings in “Create a Performance Report.”
    Tips
In some cases, such as when time has passed between the occurrence of an impression and the click, other performance values, such as clicks, may be counted even if there is no impression.
    Example:
    1. An impression is counted on 23:59 May 19, 2022
    2. A click is counted on o:02 May 20, 2022
    3. The ad delivery stops immediately
→ In this case the performance data for May 20, 2022 will appear as “impression: 0, click:1.”
