You can follow the steps below to edit the existing ad display options.

*Stopped adding, editing, and removing previous ad display options on June 8, 2022. Stop associating with them on June 29, 2022, and remove previous ad display options from the list view of ad display options at the end of July 2022.

Tips

The statistics of the edited Ad Display Option will be carried over.
You can edit items that have already been reviewed.

Note

Edited QuickLink Text, QuickLink description, Landing Page URL, Smartphone Landing Page URL, Tracking URL, Custom Parameter, Phone number, Callout Text, Category Text, and Text will be displayed once after the editorial review is complete. Note that they are not displayed when declined.
Schedules, Day of Week /Hours will be applied just after the data is saved.
Also please note that if you edit items to be reviewed (ex. QuickLink Text, QuickLink description, Landing Page URL, Phone number ) and not to be reviewed (ex. Schedules) together, non-review items are applied soon and they do not get back even if something declined on review.

Edit a single Ad Display Option

Steps

Click the "Search Ads" tab of the Campaign Management Tool.
Click the "Administration" tab, then click the appropriate account name to edit on the Account list.
From "Select Items" in the middle of the page, click the "Ad Display Option" sub-tab, then select QuickLinks or Call Extensions.
Click "(New)" to create the new ad display options.
Click the "Option List" sub-tab, then click the balloon icon on the left end of the ad display option which you edit.
Click the "Edit" link on the left top of the displayed dialog.
*Items on the displayed dialog will be varied by QuickLinks/Call Extensions which you edit.

Tips

The clickable link to edit is not displayed for the ad display option which has not been completed review.
Edit each item required on the displayed page.
Click the "Save Change" button.
*Items on the displayed dialog will be varied by QuickLink Options which you copy.
Review the result whether the edited ad display option has been saved on the "Option List" sub-tab.

Edit Ad Display Options in bulk

Steps

Click the "Search Ads" tab of the Campaign Management Tool.
Click the "Administration" tab, then click the appropriate account name to edit the Account List.
From "Select Items" in the middle of the page, click the "Ad Display Option" sub-tab, then select QuickLink Options or Call Extensions.
Click "(New)" to create the new ad display options.
Click the "Option List" sub-tab, then click the "Create and Edit Options" button, then click "Create in bulk".
On the Ad Display Options Edit in the bulk page, enter items in tab-separated format.

Click the "Save Change" button to save the entered information.

Tips
How to find the ad display option tracking ID:
You can check the "Ad Display Option Tracking ID" in the "Analytics" and "Option List" views.

According to the “Data entry specifications for QuickLink Option”, enter required items for QuickLink Option, one per one line, delimiting tab.
* Creating ad in non-upgraded URL format has been sunset on September 1, 2016. All ads are created in Advanced URL format.

Click "Create."

The time at which the edited contents are reflected differs depending on the item.
