Performance reports for Search Ads

This page shows a list of performance reports you can create for Search Ads.

  • Account report:
    Performance of all levels such as campaign and ad group.

  • Campaign report:
    Performance of each campaign. This report includes ad group data under the campaign.

  • Ad group report:
    Performance of each ad group.
    This report includes ad and keyword (for Search Ads) data under the ad group.

  • Ad report:
    Performance of each ad.
    Tips

    The ad report shows "title1," "title2" and "final URL" of Dynamic Ads for Search as "-" (hyphen symbol). To check the ad titles and the final URL delivered by Dynamic Ads for Search, use "Search query report (DAS)."

    Search query report

  • Keyword report:
    Performance of each keyword.

  • Search query report:
    Performance of each search query (searched text) that triggered the ad.
    You can check major search queries that many internet users used for searching on the report.
    Note that miner search queries are not on the report after September 2020.

  • Geographic performance report:
    Regardless of using location targeting, this report shows the performance data based on the location information acquired when searched. You can find search or click trends in each location.

  • Ad display option report:
    You can check the performance of each ad display option. Learn more about What is ad display option.

    *(Prev) ad display option reports show the performance of the previous ad display options (from July 22, 2013, to July 2022)  and ad customizers (using the data assignment list).
    The "Ad display option report (campaign)" and "Ad display option report (ad group)" let you check the performance of the ad display options in the new format that became available in March 2022.

  • Geo targeting report:
    Performance of each location targeting.

  • Day of week/ hours targeting report:
    Performance of each weekday or time of day.

  • Auto bidding report:
    Performance of each portfolio bidding. It may take a few days for the data to be reflected.

  • Campaign target list report
    This report shows the performance of each target list of Site retargeting set for campaigns.

  • Ad group target list report
    This report shows the performance of each target list of site retargeting associated with ad groups.

  • Search query report (Dynamic Ads for Search):
    Performance of each search query (searched text) that triggered the Dynamic Ads for Search.
    Note that miner search queries are not on the report after September 2020.
    You can check the automatically generated titles, URL set for the landing page, etc.

  • Page feed targeting report:
    Performance of each targeting setting that triggered the Dynamic Ads for Search.

  • Landing page URL report
    This report shows the performance of each URL of the landing page that was displayed finally for an ad click.

  • Bid adjustment report
    This report shows the list of bid adjustment rates by each device set for campaigns.

  • Responsive Ads for Search asset report
    You can check the performance of each asset (title, description) of Responsive Ads for Search.
