Specify "Entire domain" for ad delivery

From April 14, 2020, in Dynamic Ads for Search, the new methods of specifying web pages for ad delivery became available. You can select from “Entire domain,” “Page feed,” and "Entire domain and page feed.”
*Currently, the feature is a test version.

When you select "Entire domain," you only need to enter the domain in the campaigns of Dynamic Ads for Search.
All web pages under the domain will be used for Dynamic Ads for Search’s ad delivery after you created a campaign.
You can save your time by not entering URL for each page to create page feeds.

"Entire domain and page feed” lets you enter the domain and use the page feed settings. By using both methods, you can specify the web pages for ad delivery accurately.

You can select “Entire domain” and "Entire domain and page feed” when you create or edit a campaign. Learn more about Create Campaign (Dynamic Ads for Search).

Up to four campaigns that have “Entire domain” and "Entire domain and page feed” per account.

■Notes on using “Entire domain” and "Entire domain and page feed”

There are restrictions when using “Entire domain” and "Entire domain and page feed.”

  • Currently, the feature is a test version.

"Entire domain" and "Entire domain and page feed" for specifying web pages are currently provided as a trial. We update this feature as needed, so it may be changed without prior notice.

  • Check the web pages under the domain in advance.

Check the domain doesn’t include the contents such as “sold out” and “out of stock,” or pages that aren’t used for ad delivery. When the domain contains web pages that don’t use for ad delivery, narrow down by using “Targeting setting (Allow)” and “Targeting setting (Exclude).”

  • This feature isn’t available for drugs, medical equipment, or medical institutions.

You can’t use "Entire domain" and "Entire domain and page feed" for products that are the target of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act (PMD Act) and medical institutions. Use the page feed for the following products and genres of medical institutions.

  • Drugs and medicines
  • Medical equipment
  • Quasi-drugs
  • Cosmeceuticals
  • Cosmetics
  • Health food
  • Health appliances

  • Many pages may not deliver ads

"Entire domain" and "Entire domain and page feed" settings crawl pages under the domain. If the web pages under the domain contain the terms that may not meet the Yahoo! JAPAN Advertisement Editorial Guidelines, these pages won’t be used for ad delivery. The header, footer, comments from the users, common menu, etc. are also reviewed.

For the test version, we review terms that may not meet the guideline more strictly. Therefore, in some cases, fewer ads may deliver than usual.
When the web page doesn’t deliver ads even they meet the guideline, add the page to the page feed and select “Page feed” in the campaign.

  • Not available in the Campaign editor

You can’t create or edit "Entire domain" and "Entire domain and page feed" in the Campaign editor.
