Invite other users to your account

Inviting specific users to your account is available.
In addition to the users (Yahoo! JAPAN business IDs) in your company, inviting users from the other companies is available.

Note
  • A user who has Admin access can invite other users.
  • When you are invited by the other user, check the following points before accepting the invitation.
    • The trouble caused by the actions of invited users is on the inviter’s responsibility.
    • When the invited user accepts the invitation, the user can update, monitor, and manage the invited account. In addition, the information in the account will be disclosed to the invited user when the user makes inquiries, etc.
  • When you are invited by the other user, check the following points before accepting the invitation.
  • You can’t invite Yahoo! JAPAN business IDs in the companies that do not use the Campaign Management Tool. To invite these Yahoo! JAPAN business IDs, create a new business ID in the company you want to invite.

How to invite users to your account

The following steps describe how to invite users to your account.

Note
  • You cannot give multiple account accesses to any single Yahoo! JAPAN Business ID at once.
  • You cannot give access to the same account to multiple Yahoo! JAPAN Business IDs.
Steps (for using the previous Campaign Management Tool)
  1. Click “Roles” on the top bar of the Campaign management tool.
  2. Select a service (Display Ads or Search Ads), then select an account to invite users.
  3. From the left top, click “Invite.”
  4. Enter Yahoo! JAPAN business ID of the user to invite.

    Note
    You can’t invite Yahoo! JAPAN business IDs in the companies that do not use the Campaign management tool.
    Tips
    See “Yahoo! JAPAN business manager (employee list)” for the list of Tool admin and Tool users added within a company. Also note that “Yahoo! JAPAN business manager (employee list)” can be browsed only by Tool admin.
  5. Select an access level to give to the user.
    Learn more about who can invite other users in access levels that can invite other users on "Access levels that can invite other users".
  6. Click “Send invitation.”
    The user that you entered on the step 4 will receive an invitation.
    You can check the status of inviting users in the list. The user who refused the invitation won’t appear in the list.

    a. “Inviting users”
    The users who have not accepted or refused the invitation appear in this section.
    The invitation won’t expire. Until the user accepts or refuses the invitation, the user appears in “Inviting users.”

    b. “Invited users”
    Users who accepted the invitation appear on the list.
Steps (for using the new ad management tool)
  1. In the upper right corner of the new platform, click the Tools icon.
  2. Click “Roles” on “Tools”.
  3. Click “Invite.”

    Enter Yahoo! JAPAN business ID of the user to invite.
    Select an access level to give to the user.

    Tips
    To change the account to be invited, click “Go to "Account access (select/view)" at the right top.
    The account for which the signed-in Yahoo! JAPAN Business ID has admin access is displayed on the view. Select a service (Display Ads or Search Ads), then select an account to invite users.

    * (Only for Tool admin) Click “View accounts for each Yahoo! JAPAN business ID” on the upper right to show the list of Yahoo! JAPAN Business IDs and accessible accounts. Note that the display is only for the company to which you belong, and accounts belonging to other companies are not displayed.
    You can check the type of permissions for the linked MCC account by clicking the "Details" icon displayed in the linked MCC column.
  4. Click “Send invitation.”
    The user that you entered in Step 4 will receive an invitation.
    You can check the status of inviting users to the list. The user who refused the invitation won’t appear in the list.

 The email address associated with the invited user (Yahoo! JAPAN business ID)All email addresses associated with the Yahoo! (*)When the invited account is associated with the MCC account, the automated emails will be sent to all users who have admin access to the MCC account.
