How to invite users to your account using account access management

This page describes how to invite other users to your account.

Note
A user who has "admin" access can invite other users. Learn about how to check and update user's access.

How you invite other users

Depending on the status of Yahoo! JAPAN business ID that belongs to the invited user, the inviting process differs.

If the inviting user don’t have a Yahoo! JAPAN business ID
  1. Create a Yahoo! JAPAN Business ID via Yahoo! business manager. Follow the steps in “Create a Yahoo! JAPAN business ID”.
  2. Invite the Yahoo! JAPAN business ID to your account in the Campaign management tool.

Create a Yahoo! JAPAN business ID

Create a Yahoo! JAPAN Business ID via Yahoo! business manager.

Note
Yahoo! JAPAN business ID can be created only by Tool admin.
Steps
  1. Click “Roles” on the Campaign management tool.
  2. Select an account.
  3. From the upper right, click “Yahoo! JAPAN business manager (employee list).”
  4. The “List of Users” in the Yahoo! JAPAN business manager appears. Click “+Create a New User.”

  5. Enter the required information of the new user.

    Tips
    • The available options in "Authorities" at the bottom vary depending on the access you are giving.

    • "Tool administrator permission" won’t be available when there are maximum number of administrators. Learn more about "Tool access permission" and "Tool access permission" in “Manage account access.
    • Administrator permission allows managing organization information registered in Yahoo! business manager. Learn more about “Administrator role.”
  6. Click “Submit.”
  7. Confirm the information and click “Register.”
    Tips
    An email to authenticate your registration will be sent to the email address you entered. Let the new user check the authentication email and process Yahoo! JAPAN business ID authentication.

How to check and update user's access

You can check users' access and change the access role by using "Yahoo! JAPAN Business manager". Make sure the steps described as follows.

Steps
  1. Click “Roles” on the top bar of the Campaign management tool.
  2. Select a service (Display Ads or Search Ads), then select an account to invite users.
  3. Click the link "Yahoo! JAPAN business manager (employee list)" at the right top.
    The list of employees who registered on Yahoo! JAPAN Business manager is displayed on your view.
