The layout differs depending on image sizes

There are two patterns of images you can create for the Ad type “Responsive (image).”

  1. Pixel size: 300x300

  2. Aspect ratio: 1.91:1 (Minimum pixel size is 1200x628)

Depending on image sizes, the layout and elements shown in your ad differ.
When you have both sizes, the more suitable image is used in your ad. We recommend creating both sizes.

Images are resized or cut off when delivered

For ad type “Responsive (image)”, your images may be resized or cut off. Create your ads with important elements in the center in case your images are cut off.
The maximum trimming range is 15 percent on each side of the image.
Our simulator shows how your images appear on smartphones. The simulator is in Japanese, but you can try it by drag and drop your image file to the “画像ファイルをドロップしてください” part in gray.

No text in the image

Try not using text in the image because the images may be resized or cut off.
Use “Title” and “Description” when explaining by text.
Company name, brand name, product name, and service name don’t need to be included in the image because it will be in the “Advertiser Indication.”

The maximum number of images you can add

Maximum images, including logo images, per one account is 1000.

Tips
For responsive ads, even when the logo image is registered, depending on ad placements the logo images may not be displayed.

Don’t place promotional texts in logo image

The ad can’t be delivered when an image that includes a logo and promotional text is created.
Logo image must be either the company name, brand name, product name or service name.

Don’t use affiliate client’s logo images

The ad can’t be delivered when affiliate client’s logo image is used.
