Autobidding type "Target CPA (tCPA)"

Autobidding "Target CPA (tCPA)" is a bid strategy that automatically adjusts bids to get as many conversions as possible while keeping the target CPA.

When setting the auto bidding type “Target CPA,” only the conversions through clicks-Conversions (via click)-are optimized. Conversions through video views aren’t optimized.

*Since you can set the target value of cost per acquisition (CPA) and deliver ads, you can improve the advertising operation while checking the achievement status of the target.

Suitable campaigns

To use a more stable auto bidding type “Target CPA (tCPA),” we recommend setting this type for campaigns that count 40 or more conversions per ad group under the campaign in the past 30 days.

Setting of Target CPA (tCPA)

Target CPA (tCPA) optimizes the bid so that the CPA approaches the target value (tCPA) within 7 days after setting the autobidding. At that time, it will learn based on the actual conversion results of the past 30 days. Therefore, when setting up a new autobidding, we recommend that you set a target value (tCPA) based on the CPA for the last 30 days.

Note
If you set your target value (tCPA) too low compared to the actual results for the last 30 days (or within the measurement period), your ads may not be delivered.

Adjustments after autobidding setting

After setting up the “Target CPA (tCPA),” check your CPA in the past 7 days and adjust as follows.

You can edit the setting of the target value (tCPA) on the list view or the editing view of the campaign and ad group.
