Recommendations

Depending on how you manage your ads, we give “Recommendations” for you. These suggestions help you improve your account management and optimize ad deliveries. 
There are five types of recommendations.
Campaigns that reached the daily budget
Campaigns that have a large lost impression share (budget)
Suggestions for using autobidding (target CPA)
Ads additional suggestion for campaigns
Recommended search keywords
Convert your campaigns to Display Ads (Auction)

  • Recommendations are updated daily. You can’t check the recommendations of the past.
  • Recommendations appear based on your account status, and there may be no recommendations.

Campaigns that reached the daily budget

This recommendation appears for campaigns that reached the daily budget in the past three days When you have reached your daily budget limit, it is likely that your ad delivery is not maximizing. Raise your daily budget to gain more ad delivery chances. Additionally, check your bids and targeting settings.

Campaigns that have a large lost impression share (budget)

This recommendation appears for campaigns that have over 25% lost impression share (budget) in the past seven days. The estimated budget is based on the lost impression share up to the previous day it appears. Maximizes advertising opportunities by raising the daily budget and lowering the lost impression share (budget). Check your budget before you change it.

Note
The recommended budget for Recommendations can be extremely high. If the recommended budget is too high, your ad cost may be unexpectedly expensive. Be careful when you set the budget.

Suggestions for using autobidding (target CPA)

This recommendation appears for manual-bidding campaigns that have enough conversion data. It suggests changing to autobidding (target CPA). When you set a target CPA, you can automatically get more conversions while keeping the target value. And the system automatically adjusts the bids and deliver ads, so you can improve ad managements while you monitor how your ads are doing.

Ads additional suggestion for campaigns

For campaigns that do not have ads using a specific format, you will be suggested to create ads with image sizes and ad types that are often delivered. Adding ads with different image sizes will increase ad delivery opportunities.

Recommended search keywords

The recommended search keywords are highly relevant to the existing search keyword list.
Use the recommendation to manage your search keywords more effectively with less workload and improve your ad performance.

Convert your campaigns to Display Ads (Auction)

This recommendation appears for campaigns created in the Yahoo! JAPAN Display Ad Network (YDN) platform.
