*”Display Ads (Guaranteed)” is available for limited users who have a contract for Display Ads (Guaranteed).
With age targeting, you can specify the age category of interest users to whom you want to deliver ads and narrow down where your ads are delivered.
You can set the age groups to deliver ads for each ad group. Selecting several age groups is also possible.
Note
The accuracy of targeting is not guaranteed. Selected settings and other factors may cause inaccuracy of this targeting.

You can set age targeting by the following age groups (ranges).

Previous age groups
The old age groups that had been used before June 8, 2021, were ended.
Numbers of the actual performance that occurred in the old format are seen with the string "(previous)" on the performance report and on the list of age targetings.

Predicted users
Predicted users are users who are presumed to be in the age group by machine learning based on the ad delivery results and interests based on the user's search history. Ads are displayed for users who are assumed to be target users of that age group, in addition to the explicitly targeted age group users.
Example
When you select checkbox of “20-24”:
→Ads will be delivered to users of “age determined 20 to 24” and users “with ages predicted 20 to 24.”
Set age targeting
Follow the steps to set age targeting.
	
You can set it by either of the following steps.
Select an ad group from "Edit" on the age targeting list view
Set from the New ad group view or Edit ad group view 
Select an ad group from "Edit" on the age targeting list view
Steps
	
Click “Age” on the side menu.
	
Click “Edit.”
	
Click the campaign that includes the ad group and the ad group you are to set the targeting.
	
Select “All ages” or “Specify ages” in the Age Edit view.
	
When you select “Specify ages” select the checkbox of the age group you are to deliver your ads.
To specify the bid adjustment rate for each selected age group, select "Increase" or "Decrease" and enter the percentage to be adjusted in number in 1 percent increments.
	
Click “Set.”

In the “Create ad group” view or “Ad group settings” view > select “ “All ages” or “Specify ages” in the “Ages”
	
Select the checkbox of the age group you are to deliver your ads.

Click “Turn on” or “Turn off”

Tips
	
You can’t turn off all age groups including “Unknown.” Set "on" for one or more age groups or unknown option.
