Device targeting
Using the device targeting, you can specify the ad placement by selecting the device (terminal), OS, platform, etc., in advance. You can specify the target device in the ad group.

Items that you can set as your device targets are as follows:

You can select PC, smartphone, and tablet for devices. You can deliver ads to specific device types.

- If a campaign goal is "app promotion," you can't select "PC."
OS
Select from Android and iOS to deliver ads to smartphones and tablets. You can also deliver ads to specific OS types.

- If a campaign goal is “app promotion,” the app OS (Android or iOS) selected when creating the campaign will apply.
OS version
If a campaign goal is “app promotion,” you can select the lowest possible OS version number for smartphones or tablets. The OS version that you deliver ads to is from the selected version to the latest version.
- Example
- When “iOS version: 10.0 and above” has been set :
“iOS version from 10.0 to the latest version” is the scope of iOS version of the placement for ad delivery.
- Tips
- It may take some time until the latest OS version becomes available for use in the Campaign Management Tool.
Platforms
Select platforms for smartphones and tablets to deliver ads.

- When you select "PC" for the device, the system delivers your ads to all platforms.
You can select platforms only when the device is "Smartphone" or "Tablet."
- Tips
- Web:
Ads appear when the audience views the web browser on a smartphone or tablet.
App:
Ads appear when the app opens on smartphones or tablets.
*When the audience views websites using the web browser within the app, web ads may appear.
Change settings for device targeting
You can create a device targeting settings on an existing ad group or when creating a new ad group. The settings are editable for later.
- Tips
- Using the Display Ads management tool, you can create new campaigns, new ad groups and ads at the same time.
When starting with a new campaign creation, select “campaign” from the side menu (settings items), and press the “Create Campaign” button.

To create a new ad group for a campaign that has already been created, select “ad group” and press the “Create ad group” button.
