Counting method

    • The number of conversions counts on the day the click that led to the conversion, not on the day you get the conversion. (If there are multiple clicks, the latest click counts.)
For example, when your conversion window is 30 days and someone clicked your ad 30 days ago and purchased 20 days ago, conversion counts one on the 30 days ago.
The conversion-related values on the report may change due to this counting method.

    • Conversions after video viewing for 10 seconds or longer (all for short videos) count as conversions of video ads, in addition to ad clicks.

 Conversions (via click)
 Conv. rate (via click)
 Conv. value (via click)
 Cost/conv. (via click)
Conv. value (via click)/conv. (via click)
 Conv. value (via click)/cost

Note
  • To check conversions that aren't through ad clicks; conversions after video views, subtract values in Group 1 metrics from Group 2 metrics.
Example: Conversions - conversions (via ad click) = conversions through video view
  • When you don't use video ads, use metrics in Group 1.
  • Use Group 2 metrics to check conversions through ad clicks for video ads.

Group 3:

Metrics that count conversions by users who viewed your ad, but didn't click ads nor view videos.

Counting method

The method of counting the number of conversions depends on the settings of "Conversions action for optimization."
To compare the results, use "Conversions (all)." It includes all conversions regardless of the settings.
