About conversion-related indicators
How to count the number of "conversions"

  • The number of conversions is recorded, not for the day the conversion is generated, but for the day that the ad leading to the conversion is clicked. If there is more than one click, the day of the last click is recorded.
For example, where the “Counting Period” for conversions is set to 30 days and a conversion is generated from a click 30 days ago, the number of conversions, “1,” is recorded for the day of the click 30 days ago.
For that reason, the value of the conversion-related indicator may change, dating back to the day of the click.

  • In an ad that displays a video, in addition to ad click, a conversion generated after viewing a video (not paid video view) is recorded as one conversion.
Refer to “Tracking conversions after video view” to learn about the conversion counting scheme for ads that display a video.
Note

Ads that display video are only available to specific customers.

Include in Conversion column

Specify whether it includes the tracked conversion into the number of "Conversions" or not.

  • "Include":
The conversion tracked by this setting will be included into the number of "Conversions". Counted conversions will be used for optimizing autobidding.
  • "Exclude":
The conversion will be counted on the number of "Conversions (all)" of campaign etc., but it will not be counted on "Conversions". Note that the counted conversion will not be used for optimizing autobidding.
    Tips
The setting of this item will not be applied to the campaign with the setting option "Select campaign-level conversion setting" of "Conversion action for optimization". About conversion-related indicators

There are two types of conversion-related indicators.

  1. Conversions are counted as a result of : users who visited the site by clicking on ads; and users who visited the site via routes other than clicking ads after in-ad video view with more than 10 seconds(paid view)
    [indicators]
     Conversions
     Conversion rate
     Conversion value
     Cost/conversions
     Conversion value/Cost
     Conversion value/conversions
     Conversions (all)
     Conversion rate (all)
     Conversion value (all)
     Cost/conversions (all)
     Conversion value (all)/conversions (all)
     Conversion value (all)/Cost
     Cross-device conversions

  2. Counts the conversions by users who visited the site by clicking ads
    [indicators]
     Conversions (via click)
     Conversion rate (via click)
     Conversion value (via click)
     Cost/conversion (via click)
Conversion value (via click)/Conversions (via click)
     Conversion value (via click)/Cost
    Note
    • To check only the value of those conversions after a video view, excluding those via an ad click, calculate it by deducting the value of indicator 2 from indicator 1 above.
Example: Conversions - Conversions (via ad click) = conversions via video view
    • Customers who do not use video in their ads should check indicator 1 above.
    • Regarding indicator 2 above, in video ads, use as an indicator to allow you to check the number of conversions only via an ad click.
  3. Counts the conversions by users who see the ads but don't click or watch paid videos
    [indicators]
    View-through conversions

How to count the number of "conversions"

The method of counting the number of conversions depends on the settings of "Conversions action for optimization" on the campaign creation and editing screens.
If you want to check the number of conversions to compare the results, use "Conversions (all)". "Conversions (all)" will include all conversions regardless of the settings.
