Create performance report and template

You can customize your performance reports by selecting data items as reporting indexes.

Tips
  • Performance data for removed elements (ads, etc.) appears in this report.
  • You must have "Admin," "Edit," or "Read-only" access to create the performance report. Learn more about Manage account access.
  • You can create a performance report for the past 37 months. However, the data aggregation duration for some items differs, refer to more details on Available reporting duration for each item.
  • After October 20, 2021, creating a new template or report including "destination URL" is not available. Selecting "destination URL" from the preset is also unavailable. Already created reports are referable.

Create a new template and performance report

  • You can save your column set as a template.
  • You can regularly receive a report created based on the template.
  • Up to 30 templates are available.

Create a new template and a report

Steps
  1. From the top bar, click "Reports."
  2. Click “Create report and template.”
  3. "Load predefined report" screen will show. Learn more to use the predefined report. Click "Close" to continue without using the predefined report.
  4. Enter and select the items at the left of the "Create template" view.

    (1) Enter the template name.
    (2) From the second top bar, select a duration.
    Tips
    Today's data isn't a fixed value. To check the fixed value, select data that excludes today.
    (3) Select a file format.
    (4) Select a schedule for creating a report. To receive a notification, enter your email address.
    (5) Select columns.
    -Select columns from “Basic item.” There are "Setting items" and "Values." Choose data index, then drag and drop them or click the "+" symbol to add those indexes to the creating space in the middle of the view.
    -To divide your data, add ”Segment."
    (6) To view a report using the selected columns, click “Preview report.”  You can add and remove items after checking the report. 
       *It may take a while for the preview to show.

    Tips
    • To remove items from the report, click “X” next to the column name at the top of the report.
    • You can change the order of the items in the following two places. In addition, it is not possible to sort beyond "Setting items" and "Values."
      -Dragging and dropping the item name at the top of reporting area to move the item.
      -Dragging and dropping the item on the preview to move the item.
      *Before dragging, put your mouse cursor over an item to see a blue line. Dragging will be available.
    • You can filter the data to view.
    • To add a filter, click "Add" next to the filter icon.
    • Select conditions (equals, contains, etc.) and enter values or names.
    • To remove a filter, click “X.”
    (7) To download, click “Preview report,” then “Download.”
    Note
    You must click “Preview report” described in (6) before you download the file.
  5. Click “Save,” then select an action from the pull-down menu.
    - Save the template and create a report
    - Template only
    - Create report only
    Created templates and reports can be seen on the list view.
Tips
  • On October 20, 2021, "final URL" became available on the performance report.
  • Selecting both "destination URL" and "final URL" on the single template at the same time is not available.
  • When selecting "destination URL" or "final URL" on the template, you can check the following contents.
    -Destination URL: Contents that are set to "destination URL" of ads.
    -Final URL: Contents that are set to "final URL" and "destination URL" of ads.

Create a new report using a template

The templates you created appear in the "Performance report."
Regardless of the reporting schedule set when creating the template, you can create a report with any timing on the list screen.

Steps
  1. From the upper right corner of the new platform, click the graph icon. 
  2. From the "Template," click the “Create report” link next to the template.
  3. Click “Create.” 
  4. The created reports appear in “Reports created.” Get your report from the “Download” link.

Use predefined report

"Predefined" reports are ready-made reports that have suitable column sets depending on the report. Report types available for the "predefined" features are as follows.

PredefinedDescription
Basic reportThe basic report contains metrics to check advertising effectiveness such as impressions, clicks, and costs. You can view your data per campaign, ad group, or ad.
Ad delivery URL reportYou can create a report per URL. You can view your data per account, campaign, or ad.
On the Display Ads (Auction) account, you can get this report for up to the second level of subdomains and directories.
Destination URL reportYou can create a report per the destination URL of your ad.
Label reportYou can create a report per label of your elements. You can view your data per campaign, ad group, or ad.
Reach report

You can create a report for reaches (the number of users with measured impressions, viewable impressions, frequency, etc.) You can view your data per campaign, ad group, or ad.
*The aggregation duration of the reach report differs, refer to the item of the reach on the Available reporting duration for each item.

 

Follow the steps below to create a template by using the predefined feature.

  1. From the upper right corner of the new platform, click the graph icon.  The performance report view will show.
  2. Click “Create reports and template.”
  3. "Load predefined report" screen will show.
    Select a report type and levels (account, campaign, etc), then click "Apply."
  4. The Create template view with the items set for the report you selected will be displayed.
    Follow the steps on Create a new template and a performance report.
    Note
    The "Load predefined report" screen can also be displayed from the "Load predefined report" button in the Create template view.
    The "Load predefined report" button refreshes the selected columns or filters.
    Apply the predefined report, then add or edit predefined columns.
